Science of Patient Input (SPI) Survey on Digital Health Technologies and Patient Input
What’s Inside?
MDIC Science of Patient Input (SPI) designed a survey to collect insights regarding using Digital Health Technologies (DHT) for patients. The pandemic expedited and increased the use of digital health technologies, and this survey gathered the successes, challenges, and opportunities for adopting, using, and leveraging digital health technologies.
The survey consisted of various questions directed towards different stakeholders in the device ecosystem, this included: patients, providers, clinicians/investigators, hospital systems, manufacturers, and MedTech companies. Each shared their perspectives and inputs on using digital health technologies. This report summarizes the findings of the survey results, which frame the areas of interest and priorities of SPI’s developing Patient-Centered Digital Health Technologies. We are very excited to share these insights with you and we expect the findings to drive meaningful and actionable discussions on Digital Health Technologies (DHT) for patients everywhere.
Objective The objective of the survey was to gather and evaluate input across stakeholder types to learn about the successes, challenges, and opportunities that exist in the DHT space. |
